Course Overview

This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of the UOP Parex Process, including updates to the technology to ensure practical application of the material. The concepts of UOP’s family of SorbexTM simulated moving bed technologies are also addressed. Through lecture, group discussion, and problem-solving exercises, participants will learn how to optimize and troubleshoot a unit. With continued emphasis on optimization and economics, strategies for optimizing performance and reliability in an integrated complex are also discussed.
