Course Overview

This course offers an introduction to the various aspects of UOP Ecofining technology and key information on unit design, catalysts, and procedures. Through lecture and exercises you will gain an understanding of the theoretical principles of Ecofining, as well as the practical knowledge required for safe and efficient unit operation. You will discuss best practices and determine better ways to evaluate operating data. You will work with unit flow schemes and equipment, the impact of process variables on unit performance, operating procedures and the philosophies behind them, and the metallurgy and corrosion issues specific to Ecofining units.

We will be offering this course both in person and virtually. Virtual participants will log on during the live course, which meets during GMT - Dublin, Edinburgh, Lisbon, London Time Zone.
