Course Overview

This course introduces the fundamentals of the UOP Butamer Process. Led by UOP process specialists, participants will learn how to operate the UOP Butamer unit, including process optimization and evaluation of operating data. Process variables and feed contaminants will also be covered. Lectures are combined with exercises, quizzes, and question-and-answer time to allow participants to share experiences and solutions to operating problems encountered on the job.

We will be offering this course both in person and virtually. Virtual participants will log on during the live course, which meets during Central Standard Time Zone. 1 week prior to the start of the course, we will provide the Teams meeting link via E-mail.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for process engineers and operations personnel who work with the Butamer unit or supervise those who do.
