Course Overview

This course provides the fundamentals and in-depth of the UOP HF Alkylation Process. Through lecture, exercises, and discussion, participants will gain an understanding of the HF Alkylation Process, operation, and advanced issues of the unit. Participants will also explore ways to ensure optimum corrosion management and operations control for reliability and performance.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for process engineers and operations personnel who work with the UOP HF Alkylation Process or supervise those who do.

Also will provide further emphasis on reliability and mechanical integrity of piping and equipment and will look closely at some of the current corrosion concerns that are unusual and particular to the HF Alkylation unit. Economics of HF Alkylation unit operation will be covered as well as risk control. Troubleshooting strategies will be discussed and participants will have the opportunity to discuss specific problems and review possible solutions.
