Merox™ Extraction Process (includes Web-Based Training)

Course Overview

This course provides the theoretical and practical knowledge needed to efficiently and safely operate UOP Merox units. Led by experienced UOP process specialists, the course covers process flow and equipment, unit operation, analytical procedures, maintenance procedures, and safety. To ensure the practical application of knowledge, discussion includes normal operations, startup, shutdown, and troubleshooting. Classroom lectures are combined with exercises and question-and-answer time to allow participants to share operating problems they’ve encountered and discuss solutions.

This course has a Web-Based Training pre-requisite that must be completed by the registrant prior to the commencement of the course. Details on how to access and complete the web-based training will be sent to the registrant’s email address a minimum of 30 days prior to the commencement of the course.

Who Should Attend

This course is designed for process engineers and operations personnel who work with an extraction unit (e.g., LPG, light gasoline) or supervise those who do.

Attendance is limited to current UOP license holders.
