Rotary Valve & Peripheral Equipment

Course Overview

This course covers the operation, maintenance, and trouble-shooting of the Rotary Valve (RV) and its peripheral equipment. This is a lecture-based course supplemented with extensive question-and-answer sessions to encourage interaction with the UOP RV specialist and other course attendees. The course material focuses on the mechanical operation of the RV and is applicable for all types of UOP SorbexTM units. UOP RV best practices in operating and component maintenance and inspection intervals are also examined. A general overview of the equipment will be presented, so no prior knowledge of the RV technology is required.
