Course Description

HF Alkylation Process - Advanced

Course Overview

This advanced course provides an in-depth technical review of HF Alkylation Process operations for process engineers and operators. It provides participants with two (2) days of classroom training that addresses advanced issues in HF Alkylation. This course is intended to build on the basis training provided in the 3-day Standard UOP HF Alkylation Training course.

The Advanced HF Alkylation Process course will provide further emphasis on reliability and mechanical integrity of piping and equipment and will look closely at some of the current corrosion concerns that are unusual and particular to the HF Alkylation unit. Economics of HF Alkylation unit operation will be covered as well as risk control. Troubleshooting strategies will be discussed and participants will have the opportunity to discuss specific problems and review possible solutions.

This class is typically conducted one time a year during the third quarter of the year. For more details contact: https://uoptraining.secure.force.com/UOPTrainingContactUsPage.
