Course Description

Analytical Laboratory Training

Course Overview

Oil refineries and petrochemical plants around the world require their laboratory operations to perform large numbers of analyses before their products are sold to consumers. Determination of key qualities and detection of impurities is critical to the success of unit operations. With the volume and variety of tests needed, keeping a laboratory running smoothly can be a difficult process. Customized to the requirements your plant’s process units, this course will teach laboratory personnel how to properly run the test methods required to get the best results from your UOP processes.

The course will include time in the UOP analytical laboratory, a modern, well-equipped laboratory with a highly-qualified staff of over 380 scientists and technicians. Samples are analyzed at the request of researchers, pilot plant operations, refiners and petrochemical plant operators throughout the world. Over 500 test methods are routinely performed. In addition, UOP test method development is an on-going activity to incorporate the latest analytical technology.

This course is not scheduled, please contact us at here for more information.
